Managed Investments have the potential to be a great addition to your investment portfolio. If you’ve been thinking of investment options that can provide strong and stable returns, as well as tax benefits, you may want to consider a Managed Portfolio. And we can help.
Better Path can show you the benefits of diversifying your portfolio with managed investments such as cash management trusts, equity funds, fixed interest funds, property trusts, and various forms of growth funds, balanced funds, and sector specific funds.
Managed Investments give you an opportunity to invest in different assets that you may not be able to afford if you tried to do it on your own. These types of investments only require a relatively small outlay, are highly regulated, and usually have a specialist investment manager.
Obviously, you must ensure that you read and understand the details of the product. For managed investments, the organisation providing the product is called the ‘issuer.’ They will provide a document called a ‘Product Disclosure Document’ – this should give you all the information you need about the type of investments, the fees and who is involved in the management.
Managed Investments enable you to invest in a diverse range of financial products that may assist in balancing your portfolio and diversifying your risk. Like all types of investments, managed investments come with some risks that we are happy to discuss with you. Talk to us now!

Chris and Andy’s Managed Portfolio
One of our clients (let’s call them Chris and Andy) were looking to expand their investment portfolio.
Chris and Andy had been thinking about what to do next with their investment portfolio. They had a couple of rental properties and enough cash and equity to buy another. But they were not sure whether this would be the right move.
After speaking with Better Path about their goals, financial requirements and different investment options. they decided to diversify their portfolio using a managed portfolio that would require a smaller financial outlay.
Better Path identified some property trusts suited to Chris and Andy’s goals of being able to generate returns of around 8% as well as tax deferred income payments each month. Chris and Andy reviewed the Product Disclosure document from the Issuers to better understand the type of investments, the fees, the risks, and who was involved in the management. They decided that the smaller outlay required for a Managed Investment would give them more financial flexibility as well as a more balanced investment portfolio.
Managed investments can be an attractive alternative to other types of investment if you need to diversify your portfolio and do not want to make a large investment outlay. Like all investments, there is a level of risk involved so it is important to seek professional financial advice before making a decision. Better Path can help.
